Biografia
My name is Akysanna da Veiga, I am 24 years old and I have a degree in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Journalism from the Jean Piaget University of Cabo Verde. I am from Santa Catarina, the daughter of Cape Verdean parents, and I currently live in Praia.
Passionate about music, I am a singer in my spare time, a writer about life and a true daughter of the sea, with a deep love for nature. Since I was a child, I have been inspired by strong and persistent women, which led me to become one of them. The desire to model and walk the runway has always been present in my life, and I can say that this dream is slowly becoming a reality. I have always wanted to be on the world's stages, whether singing, modeling or doing something that I am passionate about.
I started singing when I was 8 years old, participating in music competitions and representing my school in various activities. At 15, I entered the world of fashion, participating in the Miss Ribeira da Barca contest, representing my father's region. Later, I participated in the Miss UniPiaget contest and, since then, I haven't stopped. I won titles such as Miss Praia, Miss Simpatia CV and, recently, the long-awaited title of Miss CVI 2024.
I have always been considered one of the best students, from primary school to university. Even though I faced many challenges along the way, I remained firm and focused on my goals, completing my degree and already planning to enroll in a master's degree. At the same time, I continue to be involved in social causes, aiming to benefit and improve the lives of those who need it most.
I am recognized for my resilience, strength and determination. My goal is to be a successful journalist and a beauty queen who makes a positive impact, inspiring and changing the lives of women, serving as an example for many others.
