Biography
My name is Akysanna da Veiga, I am 24 years old and I have a degree in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Journalism from the Jean Piaget University of Cabo Verde. I am from Santa Catarina, the daughter of Cape Verdean parents, and I currently live in Praia.
Passionate about music, I am a singer in my spare time, a writer about life and a true daughter of the sea, with a deep love for nature. Since I was a child, I have been inspired by strong and persistent women, which led me to become one of them. The desire to model and walk the runway has always been present in my life, and I can say that this dream is slowly becoming a reality. I have always wanted to be on the world's stages, whether singing, modeling or doing something that I am passionate about.
Jasmine Jorgensen
Biography
My name is Jasmine Jorgensen, I am 18 years old and I am from Fogo Island. I am the daughter of a Cape Verdean mother and a Danish father, and I grew up in a small and humble community on Fogo Island, where I learned to value nature and the simple things in life.
During my teenage years, I developed a great passion for the world of fashion. I started modeling at the age of 16 and since then I have won titles such as Miss Fogo, Miss Cabo Verde Europe and, more recently, First Lady of Miss Cabo Verde International 2024.
Chezny Tavares
Biography
I am Chezny Tavares, 19 years old and I am from Praia, on the island of Santiago. I am the daughter of Cape Verdean parents, both of whom live in Achada Santo Antônio. Since I was little, I have always been proactive and determined. At the age of 8, I joined a basketball club, where I participated in several competitions and won several awards. For me, sports have always been a beautiful form of expression, fun and liberation, and since then, I cannot imagine myself without physical activities such as games and training.
